As super exciting as it is that Selfridges is back open and you can go in store, I thought I would put together a blog post of all my favourite items from lots of different categories for those of you that are staying home and not visiting stores right now. I’ve included a bit of everything, Father’s Day gift ideas, essentials for the garden, my homeware that you guys have been loving, and a few key accessory investments, bags, jewellery, and under £100.
With Fathers day just around the corner, I have had lots of questions about Father’s day gifts so have done a few favourites below. People always ask me about which camera I use too so I linked my Leica D lux too, it’s one of my favorite cameras, super portable, takes phenomenal photos (even on auto) — highly recommend (and my husband loves it so is happier to take more pictures) I also linked his Coravin, for any wine lover its a super cool tool that allows you to drink a glass of your favourites wine and preserve the rest of the bottle.
GARDEN & PICNIC
It seems for now at least there is going to be a lot of garden time this summer, so I have linked some of our favourites, I found the cutest deck chairs, a beautiful striped parasol, picnic blankets, baskets, and have included several toys, games, scooters, and play sets thats the girls are loving right now for all this wonderful weather and outdoors time.
HOME COMFORTS & DINING
You guys seem to be loving all of my dining and cooking content so I included a section for some of these, I LOVE these pink plates from The Conran Shop, and i just got the girls the heart plates as I know they will love them. As trivial as it may seem, fresh flowers have been helping me get through these times, I find them so cheerful, they literally make me happy so I’ve also included some of the vases that I’ve been loving and several home comforts (cashmere socks are my current favourite).
Accessories are a great way to shop right now. Jewellery is always timeless, so I have done a selection from lower price items to high end. I always get tons of questions on my Cartier Amulette so have linked one of these and also my Cartier love bangle. Missoma has some really beautiful well-priced pieces and I’ve also included an Alegheri medallion that’s quite similar to mine that I wear a lot as I get lots of questions on it.
BAGS & SUNGLASSES
You can never go wrong with a good bag and great pair of sunglasses. They are also really good to buy at the moment because obviously they’re timeless as well. I love this Loewe bag and have been eyeing these Chanel sunglasses with the gorgeous pearl chain. I love that Selfridges now has a great selection of preloved pieces from Vestiare Collective also.
I’ve found some lovely little swimming costumes and dresses for the girls. The White Company has some beautiful cotton pieces and I’ve also linked some gorgeous pieces from Zimmermann.
You guys alway love my major dresses so I’ve linked some timeless dresses that you can wear in the day or dress up. I’ve linked only timeless styles because we might not get to wear them much this year and I’ll only invest in a dress that I know is seasonal. Cecilie Bahnsen dresses don’t change. Her signature style will definitely be back next year as well and I found a gorgeous Valentino dress and the ETRO ONE is divine.
We may not be able to go on holiday at the moment, but I’m forever hopeful… and there’s always the garden! We’ve had such glorious weather. And again swimwear is something that doesn’t really date so you’ll definitely be able to wear all of these next year. Absolutely loving the LoveShackFancy Swimwear — It’s gorgeous. And I wore lots of the Arabella on holiday in the Maldives.
There are quite a few super cute piece I’ve found under £100. The Topshop dress that I’ve linked really reminds me of Cecilie Bahnsen and another of Reformation, and the checked one looks very Ganni-esque. With everything that’s going on you certainly don’t have to spend a fortune. Lot’s of these are really lovely and such a great price point.
