SPRING REFRESH DRESSING WITH NET-A-PORTER

I am thrilled to be writing this post for NET-A-PORTER as it’s the perfect time of the year to be sharing a few Spring refresh pieces that will never go out of style. I have invested in some great wardrobe staples over the years, which have lasted for years! I want to share my top picks for blazers, shoes and bags, and also share my favourite simple and statement dresses, as most of them are exclusive to NET-A-PORTER right now!

BLAZERS

A blazer is always the most perfect piece, especially during this time of the year. You can throw a blazer over anything from a dress, jeans or tank top. I am still loving the sharp shoulder and tailoring from Saint Laurent blazers. I got one last year which I have worn on repeat and was such a great buy. I am also loving the oversized blazers, Toteme have some really beautiful ones with the more sateen finish – love this black double breasted one. I love the cream Khaite double breasted wool blend blazer which I invested in this year – the oversize sheer and longer length is gorgeous – was definitely a piece I felt I was missing in my wardrobe. I adore it over a black slip dress or even over a pair of jeans.

SHOES

I love when it’s spring and it’s finally time to wear sandals again as well as open toe shoes! They may not be the most practical but I’m loving all the sparkly shoes this season. I am obsessed with the Saint Laurent leopard mules which are so chic and simple. They also have a black satin pair if you want something more timeless. Also loving the Saint Laurent Blade crystal-embellished satin pumps with a simple dress or jeans. For a more sensible investment option, the Gucci Cara loafers as well as their chunky version ones are super cool. There is also nothing more comfortable than a ballet shoe right now which is a popular trend – these Celine ones are so elegant.

BAGS

I am absolutely loving the new Bottega Sardine bag. I love the mini one and also the large one which is great for everyday use. It’s the number one bag on my wish list right now. I also adore the Jodie teen suede bag. You’ve probably seen me wearing my suede one that I got for Christmas. It really is a super cool bag and so timeless too. I am also loving the Loewe puffer Goya bags which are so practical and come in different sizes and colours. Of course must mention my Saint Laurent Icare extra large embellished quilted leather tote – which I highly recommend. I have been using it on repeat and literally fits everything too!

KHAITE

I had to do a section on Khaite, because their pieces are my absolute favourite to wear on repeat every season. The quality of their clothing is impeccable, from the cashmere to the dresses they are always such great quality. Although they are very expensive, my pieces have lasted for years and have been such a great investment – you have probably seen that my Khaite cashmere cardigans have been worn on repeat and are ways on my Instagram! I love the Julius 40 leather belt which I have worn so many times and it’s super stylish. I also love the Perth Leather sandals which are high on my wish list!

SIMPLE DRESSES

I wanted to do a section of minimal dresses as I absolutely adore slip dresses. They work so well with an oversized blazer in the evening and can even be dressed down in the evening with a chunky cardigan or flat sandals in the summer. I have linked so many different ones in all shapes and sizes, as well as a range of price points. The Reformation ones are gorgeous and always such a great price point – I’m loving the Milania open-back lace-trimmed silk-charmeuse midi dress. The Saint Laurent ones are always so elegant and chic too – this cashmere turtleneck gown is also gorgeous. The Row have a stunning Bantelle open-back silk-crepe maxi dress which I am so excited to wear this season!

STATEMENT DRESSES

I know a lot of my followers love a statement dress and have asked me to share my favourites. I am loving the pink Taller Marmo Ubud one-sleeve feather-trimmed crepe gown. It’s absolutely stunning and also exclusive to NET-A-PORTER! I love the Flora open-back feather-trimmed crepe mini dress from 16Arlington which is so so chic and honestly the most perfect party dress! They also have so many incredible feather pieces this season – loving the Poppy feather-trimmed crepe camisole which you can easily wear for a party with trousers and a statement heel.
