I always love finding the best picks for resort wear, and there is no better place than MYTHERESA as they always have the most incredible selection from such a wide range of brands to choose from. I know a few of my followers are going away soon, or possibly want to find some staples for the warmer months ahead, so I wanted to share my top picks for resort wear this season – definitely has to be my favourite shopping category too!
SWIMWEAR
I absolutely love swimwear, and always think that you invest in a good piece it will last for years. Alaia is such a strong brand right now and their pieces are so incredible and a statement piece to wear. I’m obsessed with the Vienne seamless knitted bikini which is so chic and comes in both black and brown. I have also been a fan of Eres for years, I find their pieces super comfy and fit so well on the body as they are quite stretchy. I love the Gredin high-rise bikini bottoms which are so flattering, and the black Victoire sweetheart-neck swimsuit is simple gorgeous! I am also loving the stunning Bottega Asymmetric cutout swimsuit which is a take on the dress that was hugely popular on the runway last season!
READY TO WEAR
As much as I love monochrome when I am away, I also really love a pop of colour on holiday to stand out (and always looks so much better with a tan!). MYTHERESA has such a good selection of coloured pieces too. The pink La Robe Draggiu draped Jaquemus maxi dress is so so gorgeous. It’s one of my favourite shades of pink, and is also so flattering with the fishtail skirt. Oséree is also another incredible resort wear brand. Their dresses are super fun and easy to wear. I love how they are so lightweight and so easy to pack. The pink Plumage feather-trimmed minidress and green Lumière Plumage maxi dress are my favourite from the brand this season. Another top pick which I can’t wait to wear is the Valentino Scarf-print halterneck silk top which is so stunning! I am not usually into any print and you probably never see me wear any, but this one is a keeper!
PRADA
You all know how much I love Prada right now, they still have such a strong collection of shoes and accessories which are timeless. The logo cropped denim jacket is currently on my wish list as it’s such a versatile piece and perfect to throw over a dress or trousers. I am also loving the pink cupro-blend minidress which is super cute. It’s really flattering and easy to wear, I loved the denim version last year. If you’re looking for a bit more comfort on holiday, the re-nylon shorts are great and the elastic high rise waist make them super comfy.
SHOES & ACCESSORIES
Accessories are always essential on holidays, as you can use them on multiple outfits and wear them on repeat. I love wearing a pop of metallic as it always looks so chic and I’ve linked my favourite metallic pieces below. My favourite shoes this season have to be the Prada crystal-embellished satin sandals. The top pick for my everyday holiday beach bag right now has to be the Prada raffia tote which MYTHERESA have in quiet a few colours right now. I am also obsessed with the Loewe bracelet silver lurex shoulder bag, which totally upgrades any look and can be worn with anything on holiday and styled in different ways.
