I am so excited that the sun is finally coming out and it’s time for summer dressing! There are so many incredible pieces on NET-A-PORTER right now which I can’t wait to share with you all. I’ve included my top picks for dresses, shoes, bags and also some of my top basics which I always get asked about.
DRESSES
I absolutely love dresses, especially a timeless one that will last for years to come. The Zimmerman Raie corded lace mini dress is super cute for summer and I love the detailing too. The Wolford Gilda strapless stretch-modal maxi dress is also a great one at a good price point and looks so effortless when worn! If you are looking for a more statement gown, the Taller Marmo Ubud lilac one-sleeve feather-trimmed crepe gown is totally gorgeous! I am also in love with their Piccolo Ubud one-shoulder feather-trimmed sequined chiffon dress which is super chic. A brand which I am LOVING right now is Clio Peppiatt, their beading is DIVINE – love this dress so much. I’m also loving the Cecilie Bahnsen Thelma gathered matelassé mini dress that can easily be styled or dressed up with some statement jewellery.
EVERYDAY BASICS
NET-A-PORTER has always been my go to site for finding everyday basics as they have such a wide range of staples from incredible brands. I always get asked about my Toteme tank tops which are such a great essential to any wardrobe and amazing quality too. I’m also loving the Toteme ribbed-knit midi dress which are super comfy for summer and come in cream and a gorgeous taupe colour. The brand also has the most incredible pair of vintage high-rise jeans which I am obsessed with – such a great price for the quality too.
SHIRT DRESSES
I always love a shirt dress, I think it’s such a simple but cool look, I love an oversized shirt that you can belt too, you can totally dress one up in the evenings with hells and jewellery or wear with flats int he day for a laid back feel. My favourite shirt dress purchase for summer has to be the Peter Petrov Atley striped cotton-poplin mini dress which I wore below and shot on holiday, it also comes in a simple white colour way.
SWIMWEAR
Swimwear is probably one of my favourite categories to shop for. A good set or one piece can last for years so I always think it’s a great investment. Eres is one of my top swimwear brands and I am loving the Samba lace-up striped swimsuit this season which is so chic! There’s also a beautiful bikini version of it. If you prefer something more plain, the Les Essentiels Cassiopée bandeau swimsuit is such a good piece and comes in over 10 colours on NET-A- PORTER. I’m also loving the Maryia north scalloped seersucker underwired bikini set, the bikini top and bottom is so stylish for summer!
SHOES
If you know me well, you probably know how much I love a good pair of shoes. I always try to find a practical shoe for summer, especially when travelling, when you don’t want to pack too many pairs. The Gianvitto Rossi Futura 95 patent-leather and PVC wedge sandals were such a good pair when I wore them in the Maldives, and so many of you asked me about them! They are great since they match with everything also also comfy if you are going on a more beach vibe holiday. I love the Christian Louboutin lace up Kate 85 suede pumps which are so elegant and stylish. Their Nicol is Back 85 satin mules are also great for summer. One of my top picks for sandals this season has to be the Chloé Rebecca leather sandals which come in black and brown, and are super cool for everyday!
BAGS
Of course I had to include a section on bags, since no summer wardrobe would be complete without a practical travel and summer bag! NET-A-PORTER have the most incredible selection of bags to choose from this season, and I’ve linked my favourite ones below. I’m loving raffia bags, and the Khaite Lotus medium leather-trimmed raffia tote has been my favourite one for a while as it’s so practical. The Saint Laurent Uptown leather-trimmed raffia pouch was such a great purchase and also a good price point for the design! I’ve styled it with so many different outfits, and it’s a perfect neutral colour for holiday dressing. I love the Saint Laurent Kate satin shoulder bag which is so timeless and easy to wear to elevate any look.
