The holiday season this year may feel slightly different and subdued as we definitely won’t be running around chaotic stores hunting for the most perfect gifts! It’s always such a treat to receive gifts during the year, but I absolutely LOVE gifting to others even more (especially during Christmas!). I put a lot of thought and care into choosing gifts, so I’ve compiled a gift guide of all the things I love, own and plan to give to my loved ones this season. Even some ideas to spoil and pamper yourselves and make you feel more polished for your festive zoom calls! It’s divided it into different categories which I hope helps you get a head start on the search for the most perfect gifts for everyone on your list this year.
Gifts Under £50
You can definitely find some stylish and affordable gifts that won’t break the bank and also make a cute stocking filler! My personal favourites are the Johnston and Elgin cashmere socks which are super warm and cosy and perfect for celebratory festivities during the lockdown. I love the ‘Gala’ red lipstick from Tom Ford and the Diptyque candles are amazing, as well as their special Christmas edition room spray which smells like warm winter evenings. As old fashioned as I am, I still use paper diaries to write my list of things to do and have been using this red Smythson one which is absolutely gorgeous! Before the pandemic I always carried the Byredo hand sanitizer in my handbag, which has the most divine smell and will probably make an ideal and necessary gift this year!
Gifts Under £150
There are plenty of gifts that certainly look more expensive than they are! I absolutely love the red Sophie Billie Velvet Jewellery box which is so elegant, and the feel is so luxurious. The monogrammed Paravel cosmetics case makes a thoughtful personalised gift which is perfect for travelling and I love the fact that you can see everything inside. A good night’s sleep for me is imperative for a great day, which is why the Slip pillowcase is amazing as it’s made from incredibly soft silk – and also reduces hair frizzing! The Jo Malone diffuser makes a wonderful gift that lasts for ages – the lime basil and mandarin scent is heavenly.
Gifts for the Loungewear & Lingerie Lovers
We will definitely have a cosy winter snuggled up at home, so loungewear makes a perfect gift this year! Silk pyjamas are a wonderful ultimate luxury gift and Olivia Von Halle has some gorgeous pieces – I love these pink bird ones which also come in blue, as well as a more scrumptious but pricey cashmere lounge set. Silk robes also last forever and make an elegant present for a loved one. I’m obsessed with my Sleeper black feather lounge pants which I even wear to dinner sometimes, and I’ll definitely be wearing them for comfort post-Christmas lunch! I purchased the Lou Lou Studio cashmere sweats and hoodie which has honestly been the comfiest outfit this lockdown. Every day I sleep with an eye mask and I came across this Morgan Lane cashmere sleep set which is super cute.
Gifts for the Beauty Junkies
Beauty gifts are always perfect for your party loving friends! There are so many amazing Christmas advent calendars which I have seen such as the Tom Ford Lip vault one and OMG I’ve just never seen anything like it! It’s seriously the ultimate investment for any lipstick lover out there! Dr. Barbara Sturm products are amazing since they are all natural and work so well – their glow drops are definitely a favourite for a festive glow. The La Mer body cream is also divine, so it definitely makes this list. Sisley has a wonderful black rose face oil which I have been using with the stylish face roller from Omorovicza.
Gifts for the Jewellery and Accessory Collectors
I am a total jewellery and accessories addict as you probably know! Jewellery makes the perfect gift as you’ll own it forever and it has even more meaning when it’s gifted from someone. Some of my favourite picks are the Spinelli Kilcollin gold diamond ring which is just stunning, and I am also in love with the Mateo Initial necklaces which are personal and the perfect gift. I am definitely putting these impeccable and super pretty gold hoops with blue stones by Eliou straight onto my wish list, they are so unique and such a great price point! Alessandra rich has a very stylish crystal embellished black velvet hair clip which is super chic for the party season. . I’m pretty obsessed with the Lelet NY hair clips which easily add some glam with any outfit.
Gifts for the Bag Lovers
Who doesn’t love bags?! There are so many fabulous bags which are so timeless and can be used forever! Bottega bags are one of my absolute favourites, especially the pouch and clutch bag. Jimmy Choo’s pearl velvet bucket bag is a dream and definitely a gift I would want to pass down to my daughters! I have been loving Khaite this season and they have a gorgeous caramel suede bag which is perfect for both a day and evening look. I love the crystal embellished bags during the party festivals as it gives the most stylish touch to a simple outfit, so I’ve linked some of my favourites to amp up the Christmas season.
Gifts for the Shoe Addicts
Shoes make the greatest gift as you’ll wear them over and over! There is nothing better than the perfect party shoe and for me it’s the Manolos (although I find it impossible to pick just one!). The Lurum mules and Hangsi Mules are so timeless and give a dashing touch to every party outfit. The pumps are also perfect for adding some glamour to the holiday season at home! Christian Louboutin has the most elegant shoes this season, I absolutely LOVE the ribbon shoes which wrap up your leg, and I’m totally obsessed with the Aquazzura Tequilla shoes which go with any evening outfit and come in lots of colours.
Gifts for the Party Dress Girls
The holiday season calls for fabulous dresses! It’s the time when you can put on your mood-boosting sparkly pieces and feel as festive as ever. I recently purchased THE MOST glamorous red sequined De La Vali dress which could not be more perfect this season. Emilia Wickstead has a stunning black one which I also recently shot, and I love that the black sequins are matt which gives it that edge, I love wearing colours and florals, but a black dress is just timeless and chic. The Alex Perry black velvet gown is absolutely gorgeous, and I have been loving the label’s signature portrait neckline. I also love the Isabel Marant black one shoulder sequin dress as well as their gorgeous metallic midi dress for an extra shimmer and statement look.
Gifts for the Outwear Lovers
Since we’ll be spending the festive season being jolly outdoors, coats and jackets make a suitable gift this season! My Max Mara teddy jacket is probably one of my best investments, as it’s super cosy and I’ve been wearing it all winter on repeat! Acne has some gorgeous coats too, I love the shearling coat so much, although again its a slightly higher price point.. I’m also loving belted coats this season which are a true classic and wardrobe staple!
Gifts for the Home & Interior Lovers
I absolutely love lifestyle and home gifts. Firstly no 2020 gift guide would be complete without mentioning the Anissa Kermiche ceramic ‘Love handle vase’ which I am totally obsessed with! I absolutely love a table book as it just adds a luxury and stylish touch to any home. The Loro Piana blanket also makes a perfect gift for most of us who will be cosied up on the sofa this season. Lastly, it goes without saying that candles are just the most divine gifts as you can never go wrong!

This is the category for “If money was no object’ – We can all dream can’t we? What girls doesn’t love diamonds? I absolutely love this Tattoo necklace by Jessica MCcormack and earrings too for that matter. This Zodiac necklace from Anita Ko is simply stunning with such a cool girl vibe! Cartier are always a favourite of mine for watches and I love this iconic Tank Française in rose gold.
