When people ask me my favourite brand I always say that it depends on the season and collection. Of course I have my permanent favourites (for example Khaite, The Row), but generally each season there are a few collections that really stand out as “strong” to me. This season I am absolutely loving Isabel Marant, Khaite, Bottega Veneta and I also am loving Max Mara, and pieces from Saint Laurent and Ganni .
SHOP MY WARDROBE – DRESSES AND JUMPSUITS
I get so many questions on which pieces I have bought for AW, I am linking below some favourites. You will recognise the khaite dress that they have redone this year, and the Max Mara slip dresses that I love also. I am wearing the black in tonight’s post and I also love the deeper blue shade, so versatile with knits and blazers. I love the Frankie shop jumpsuits, they are just uber “cool” and Rixo dress is just so pretty.
SHOP MY WARDROBE – ACCESSORIES AND TOPS
I get more questions on these Celine sunglasses that anything else, they are amazing and ones that I have worn now for 7 years!! they just don’t date and are so flattering for everyone – they sell out A LOT thought so grab them when you see them (I have 3 pairs in case I loose one!). I had a lot of questions on my Sophie Buhai earrings recently, they are so comfortable and just ultra modern and simple. My brown suede Bottega bag was my big investment for the season, I have the white which I absolutely love but I feel for the suede as I just love the texture
BRAND FOCUS ISABEL MARANT
I wanted to highlight Isabel Marant as I personally feel like this is the strongest collection they have done in a long while. I love their silhouettes for AW and I feel like again this season it has taken on that whole has that effortless laid back French cool. This shearling coat is number one on my Wishlist and I love the puffers too. Statement sleeves are again a feature, I love this top which I will be wearing on repeat and as always their knitwear is fabulous.
BOOTS
Nothing better than a great pair of boots for those colder months and for me comfort is key, so these super chunky flat boots are perfect! My Absolute favourite are the Khaite ones, followed closely by the Stuart Weitzman and the Jimmy Choo, and for the heel boots I LOVE the grey suede Isabel Marant ones.
COATS AND BLAZER
I always love to invest in a good coat. I generally buy 1 each winter season and am still wearing lots of them many years on. I am still loving the Max Mara teddy. For me this is the ultimate teddy coat, when you see them in real life you can just see the difference with the other teddy coats, the shape is just gorgeous and the fur is just so gorgeous. I am also still really love the Max Mara Madam coat in black and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Acne Blazer
KNITSWEAR EDIT
I love a good knit, and a few years I realised investing in a good one is really worthwhile, especially when. you take care of it properly. Cashmere is my ultimate favourite, but it can be hard to find good quality cashmere that doesn’t bobble, KHAITE for me is the best cashmere, it literally doesn’t bobble at all and I love the shapes. I also shot this fabulous Ganni cardigan – LOVE the collar and shape and I am also loving this super pretty LoveShackFancy cardigan and LOVE the JW Anderson one.
