I hope you all are well, home, and staying positive. Our normal, like all of you, has changed significantly during this awful situation but I’m trying to see the positives in everything and take this time to focus on staying home with the girls and doing positive things like cooking, relaxing, and self care. I always take very good care of my skin but right now especially I’ve been going that extra mile to create more spa experiences at home using masks and a variety of moisturizing products to help find calmness, peace, and restoration during all of this.
I’ve always been a fan of Elemis. Since we now have more pampering time, I’ve really been enjoying adding their Pro-Collagen collection to my daily routine. This collection is super super moisturizing and really plumps and boosts the skin.
The Pro Collagen Eye Revive Mask is what I’ve been using most. It’s a really lovely eye mask to put on While Winter takes her now online ballet classes in the mornings, I’ve been putting a thin layer of this on my under eyes to start the days brighter. The Pro Collagen Marine Cream SPF3o is another favorite. I have so many face creams that I’ve tried and love but this ones really really good at specifically targeting fine lines and wrinkles in addition to hydrating and smoothing out the skin texture. I also love that it’s got SPF in it. I always protect my skin from the sun even in the winter and have been appreciating the added boost of amino acids and peptides from added daily stressors. Elemis also sent me the Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm. You use the flannel provided to get the full cleansing effect. Like the entire pro-collagen collection, it’s super super moisturizing and very rich. I have been staying home and make up free quite a lot and I can tell my skin’s been more plump since using it and more voluminous. I feel like it really cleanses my skin deeper than the surface layer and I love that it doesn’t dry my skin out.
I haven’t been using it daily, but another favorite for my at home self care days is the Pro Collagen Marine Mask. You put in on and then take it off after 10 minutes. I feel like it really improves my fine lines and really improves the texture of skin.
