It’s that time of year again where we get to dress up, feel festive, and wear all of our favourite party dresses and sparkly pieces. I do love this holiday season, everyone is so happy and jolly and its just the perfect get dressed up and be glam. I wanted to do an edit of lots of my favourites looks for the festive season with MyTheresa. I often think it is great to invest in a black party dress, as its something you can wear year on year and can be almost more timeless, so I shot lots of my favourite back dresses but there is plenty of colour too. I have done a massive round up of lots of my favourites styles and divided itinto lots of price ranges and shoes and accessories. Hope you enjoy it 🙂
DRESSES
I absolutely love getting dressed up, putting on an amazing dress, and heading out to a Christmasy event/party. Below are lots of my favorites. I’m absolutely loving this Norma Kamali black polo neck sequin dress. I love the shape and I think it’s super super chic. Paco Robanne is having a major moment — totally loving this blush velvet dress with diamante detailing. Another favourite is this incredible one shoulder Alessandra Rich dress and this Magda Butrym dress that I shot earlier in the season. I’ve also included a few, slightly more affordable options, such as this black off the shoulder dress and this short sequined mini, both by Self Portrait.

ACCESSORIES (JEWELLERY, HANDBAGS, & BOWS)
A great accessory can amp up any outfit. Even a simple black trouser and cami can be dressed up with the perfect accessory. I love a statement earring. I just bought these Magda Butrym ones. I’m also obsessed with these sparkly Jennifer Behr ones. I also love pearls — these Dolce and Gabbana ones are on my wish list. I’m totally all about the bows at the moment, hair bows, bows on shoes, just love them all. This velvet Mui Mui bow, exclusive to MyTheresa is divine. I also love this pink bow by Jennifer Behr again which is on sale and the black version in a beautiful velvet. For evening I love a small bag. Love this timeless Roger Vivier one which you would pull out year after year. Also love this sequined one and this classic by The Row.
SHOES
Nothing’s better than the perfect party shoe. There are so many I love this season. My absolute must-haves are these lace Jimmy Choo shoes. I have last year’s version and adore them. I’m also in love with and just bought these red bow Christian Louboutins which are exclusive to MyTheresa so snap them up now. Love these Aquazzura diamente which come in lots of colourways. In case of terrible London weather My lace Gianvito Rossi boots would be perfect.
STATEMENT SEPARATES
A statement separate is always amazing to dress up a simple cashmere sweater or a jean/black trouser. This Khaite blouse is incredible. As is this beautiful off-the-shoulder top by Self Portrait. This sequined skirt by Veronica Beard is another winner. An amazing black velvet blazer always works and this one by Saint Laurent is forever timeless. I have a Saint Laurent blazer from 15 years ago that I still pull out.
