It’s crazy to think that Winter is around the corner and it’s finally time to start thinking about the party season! I have always been such a big fan of party dresses, including anything sparkly or with sequins! MYTHERESA have the most amazing collection of pieces for the upcoming festive season from dresses, shoes, bags and accessories! I wanted to write this post for you all to share my favourite bits. I have mainly focused on dresses and have divided it into different price categories as well as linking all my top picks for bags, jewellery and party shoes!
DRESSES
UNDER £400
Dresses are always thee ultimate piece to get you into the party season! There are so many amazing dresses right now from Self Portrait which are an incredible price point for the quality and design. I absolutely love the lace midi dress with the crystal detailing on the neckline and sheer floral lace which is absolutely gorgeous! The Bow-embellished crêpe minidress is super cute and delicate too. Rebecca Vallance also has such a wonderful collection. I love the sequin feathered mini dress which comes in pink and black (and is also exclusive just to MYTHERESA this year). It is definitely a perfect party piece to stand out at any event.
UNDER £1,000
Christopher Esber have such a gorgeous collection of black dresses right now. Although I love a bit of colour, black dresses are always such a timeless piece that will last in your wardrobe for years to come. I absolutely love the Ring-detail cutout midi dress which has the most stunning detailing. I also love the Ring-detail jersey midi dress which is similar and has a slightly looser fit. I am totally loving shirt dresses at the moment and The Attico have a gorgeous yellow shirt minidress which is super cool and adds some colour to the festive season. It also comes in a striped version which is a classic dress that you can easily dress up with a pair of heels and earrings.
OVER £1,000 – MY PARTY WISHLIST!
There are so many dresses which go under my party wish list this year! I have always been such a massive fan of Magda Butyrm dresses. They totally stand out and I feel so glamorous wearing them. The Floral appliqué silk satin minidress is stunning and such an elegant silk dress. I also love the Ruffled-trimmed ruched minidress in pink – the rose detailing and ruffles are so gorgeous. Gucci has the most timeless black silk mini dress this season which I absolutely adore – definitely a statement piece that will last for years to come and that you can wear on repeat during the year.
SHOES
You always need a good pair of party shoes during the festive season! MYTHERESA has always been the perfect place for me to find the best pair as they have such a big collection to choose from. I am loving all the embellished shoes this season! The Prada Embellished satin platform sandals are such a great pair as the neutral tone means they can easily be styled with any outfit. Bottega Veneta is also having a moment with their stunning embellished satin mules – I am obsessed with the pink pair. Gia Borghini also has some gorgeous embellished mules in silver and yellow pair at a more affordable price point and the square toe is super cool.
BAGS
I love the Alaia heart shape bags which are really the bag of the moment! So many were spotted at Paris Fashion week this year and I love the design – especially the small studded one. Its super cute and I love the little heart shape which has been so popular. I have been wearing mine on repeat as it totally adds to any outfit. The Saint Laurent small chain wallet bags are always such a perfect evening bag to fit your phone and any other essentials. I love the black disco suede bag this season too! The Loewe puffer bags are currently on my wish list! I think they are super cool and a great way to make an evening outfit look slightly edgy. I love both the black and camel colour. If you are after a black pair of classic party shoes, the Roger Viver Flower Strass satin pumps are absolutely stunning and timeless. I also think the black Valentino One Stud velvet sandals are great for the festive season and all year round, especially when worn with a simple black dress.
JEWELLERY
Accessories are always the perfect way to complete any party look and make you feel even more glamourous. I have been such a big fan of using jewellery, especially necklaces and earrings to help elevate any look. The Saint Laurent gold hear-shaped earrings are very cool (and are also clip on!). I love the Magda Butrym Crystal-embellished earrings which are a statement piece and totally stand out. I’ve always loved a gold chain necklace and the Jil Sander sphere necklace this season is gorgeous and looks so elegant too.
