As tempting as it may be, I always try to not look at anything wintery until at least September, but being in London right now in the pouring rain, shopping for the colder months seems totally normal (I am seriously not sure what is going on with this weather?!). Anyway, whether you are travelling or not this summer, I wanted to share some of my favourite new season staples from MYTHERESA who have the most wonderful new collection! There are so many amazing timeless pieces and good quality basics that you can invest in to upgrade your wardrobe for the months to come and throughout the year.
MYTHERESA has such a large variety of collections, so I’ve broken this blog into my favourite selections including newness from my favourite designers too. I am totally LOVING everything about the Jil Sander collection on MYTHERESA right now! Their designs and styles are so minimal yet sophisticated and modern. You also probably also know how much I’m a fan of Khaite’s beautifully structured silhouettes and polished flattering staples. So I’ve shared all my favourite bits in the individual sections below.
CARDIGANS & JACKETS
Although I love a versatile neutral knit, one of my favorite new pieces from Khaite’s new collection is the tiger print cashmere cardigan which is a perfect statement piece. It’s super cute with a black leather mini skirt, leggings or jeans and is so comfy too! I also love the detail of the Self Portrait cotton cardigan with the slightly volumised sleeves.
One of my favourite statement pieces on MYTHERESA right now has to be the Alessandra Rich tweed jacket which is so stunning!! The blue and purple colours with the pearls are just gorgeous! I’m also obsessed with the Wardrobe.NYC oversized shirt denim jacket which I got so many questions about on my post. Its the perfect trans seasonal piece which is worth investing in as it will last for years! I’m also loving oversized blazers right now, especially the new oversized Magda Butrym wool one which is super cool!
BASICS
The Jil Sander stretch bodysuits are an essential to any wardrobe, and are a great price point for the quality. Perfect for layering under a blazer with high waisted trousers. I also love the Isabel Marant Belita cotton jersey crop tops. They look great with high rise jeans and the shoulder padding makes it look slightly more smart. I’ve been a massive fan of leggings as they make a perfect alternative to denim. I love the Totême leggings which I have worn on repeat this year. I’ve also linked my favorite Khaite tops which are so useful and definitely worth investing in as the quality and fit is so good!
BOOTS
There are so many amazing boots that I have had my eye on in preparing for the winter months. I love the fit and chunky shape of the Bottega leather ones which are so stylish. The Row also has a gorgeous pair with the metal zips at the front. I’m also loving the Jil Sander leather knee-high boots which are super cool and definitely look like a statement pair of boots!
BAGS
Bottega has always been one of my favourite bag designers and I love the BV Jodie mini tote this season. MYTHERESA has the most wonderful collection of all their colours and I absolutely love the Cinnabar and Thunder colour. I’m also loving the Jil Sander shoulder bags right now! The brown suede is so stylish and I also love the pink rose colour suede one which is super cute. I’m also obsessed with the cream leather clutch as the top handle is very cool and elegant for the evenings.
JEWELLERY
Jewellery is always so timeless and can totally elevate any outfit. A statement necklace is always my go-to accessory. Jil Sander has the most beautiful collection of jewellery right now. I’m in love with their pearl styled earrings which would look lovely on every face shape and the gold hoops are super cute too! I also love the gold Saint Laurent chain which can easily be styled with a chunky knit, skinny neckline or vest top.
DRESSES
Ganni has the most beautiful blue ribbed knit midi dress, the square neckline is gorgeous and it can be styled with flats or heels. I love the Jil Sander cotton blend maxi dress which is perfect for the warmer days and the crinkled texture makes it so unique.
I’m totally in love with the Alessandra Rich black lace mini dress. The neckline and detailing is so delicate and just gorgeous to wear in the evening. You probably know I have been obsessed with my Cecilie Bahnsen harriet dress during the summer months. I got so many questions about it so I have linked the black and white one below too.
SWIMWEAR/BODYSUITS
For those who may be travelling this month, I wanted to share some lovely swimwear pieces, however, you can totally wear them all as bodysuits which is how I’m currently styling them – with jeans, leggings or a skirt. I’m absolutely loving the Bottega ribbed knit swimsuits which are so comfortable and flattering. They come in some lovely colours which I have linked below. I’m also in love with the white one shoulder one as it’s looks so elegant with the deep cut at the back. I invested in the WARDROBE.NYC black swimsuit which is so timeless, practical and can easily be styled too.
