Autumn Wardrobe Edit with MYTHERESA

I have always been an advocate for purchasing investment pieces and in these crazy times I think it’s good to make considered purchases and buy things that we will be wearing year after year after year. I’ve been buying lots of neutral tones, blacks, khakis, and nude or camel colours— investment pieces that aren’t going to go out of date after this year. For AW I’ve done another selective edit with MyTheresa, pulling key pieces that I know will translate really well this season and years to come. Brand wise, Ganni, Khaite, Bottega Venetta, and Loewe are all worth putting at the front of your radar. I do think it’s sensible to incorporate trends selectively. Big collars are a big look this year and of course, leather textures whether it be trousers or coats.

I ALSO WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT MYTHERESA ARE HAVING A SPECIAL PROMOTION CALLED DAILY CANDY UNTIL THE 8TH OF NOVEMBER THERE WILL BE 30% OFF 80 DIFFERENT ITEMS EACH DAY …….KEEP AN EYE ON THE SITE AND ,MY STORIES FOR FAVOURITES

BRAND FOCUS – GANNI

I’m absolutely loving Ganni right now. Ganni generally has a great price point for designer clothes. I’m loving their big collar pieces. I bought this blouse last year which I wear many ways on its own and also layer it under a knit or Chanel jacket for an alternate style. This year they’ve extended their range to include several low collar variations and have a few cool collars sold separately.

They’ve also done an amazing bodysuit which reminds me of the Khaite ones and a stretch knit dress — also very similar to the Khaite ones at a much better price point.

From Ganni’s current MyTheresa selection, I’d definitely go for the BODYSUIT and the LEATHER COLLAR. These would be my two top selects along with the knit that I’m wearing in the post. The cut out polo neck is such a unique shape I think it’s something quite different for this year that what we’re not accustomed to seeing.

LEGGINGS

I’m a massive fan of leggings again this season. I’ve invested in the Saint Laurent ones which sell out quickly, but have linked here again as they’ve been restocked. I also love my Balenciaga stirrup leggings. I don’t think they have them anymore on site, but there’s an amazing similar version they’ve done this year for under £160. Wardrobe NYC are the ultimate legging of the moment. They’re made from the most incredible fabric that doesn’t loose its shape. I’m wearing the zip front ones in this post and I also love the side zip ones linked HERE.

Tapping into more texturized looks, leather leggings are always a fab wardrobe staple. If you don’t already have a pair this is definitely something that I’d recommend to really elevate your autumn/ winter wardrobe as an alternative to denim. My top pick of the moment are their Joseph mid rise leggings linked HERE.

SUNGLASSES & ACCESSORIES

My everyday go-to sunglasses that I get more questions about than anything are back in stock. I’ve had these Celines for over 6 years. They stopped making them but thankfully have brought them back because they’re a style that never seems to go out and definitely keeps its longevity.

I’m still loving simple gold jewelry right now. I’d definitely incorporate a nice gold chain, both in necklaces and bracelets. These go super well with the necklines of the Khaite pieces I’ve linked and add a very modern element to tie everything together. I’ve also linked a pair of Bottega Hoops HERE that are also quite nice.

SHOES

I absolutely love a good pump. I fell in love with these Saint Laurent ones that come in the white version which I’ve purchased and also a black version for everyday. I love them in both color ways but went for the white as they have a slight edge at the moment. I also love the heel height which is super wearable and comfy. These are one of the budding “Cool Shoes” of the moment if you’re looking for a great new wardrobe elevating shoe.

To go for a more edgy modern look, I’d also recommend styling in a white shoe over black. I love these Prada one – LINKED HERE which are very simple and I’m also OBSESSED with the Balenciaga square knife leather pumps that were all over fashion week (when we last had one!). I’ve also include some pastel pink pumps as I find these a really easy color to wear. And while they’re not exactly pumps,  I’m loving these Jimmy Choo pink mules, exclusive to MyTheresa for a bit of bling and color. The Roger Vivier’s are as really nice well.

BAGS

I’m really loving LOEWE bags. They have loads of bags that standout right now. Of course Bottega Venetta has been the leading brand at the moment but I think it’s worth highlighting there’s something super modern and current in LOEWE’S collection right now. I love the Flamenco clutch by Loewe and the Bottega Cassette

If you’re looking for a really great everyday bag I’d go for the classic Bottega padded cassette. It’s much more wearable, I don’t think it’s going to date, and the price point is a bit better. I have it in the white ‘plaster’ tone, the black, and have also linked a turquoise tone that’s a lovely colour. If you’re after the more fashion-centric style, my recommendation would be the brown suede cassette with chain. It’s super luxxe and looks really lovely styling up neutral tones.

Lastly, several of you were after my small gold Bottega pouch. MyTheresa has a limited number back in stock. This one is really lovely for an evening bag and if you’re daring and want to be a bit more bold, I’m loving the large ‘Kiwi’ pouch, linked HERE and below.

Brand Focus: KHAITE

One of my favorite brands right now is Khaite. It’s like The ROW, in that it’s understated but just uber chic. I purchased my black Khaite dress last year and can’t tell you how many times I’ve worn it along with the similar Khaite tops. Once I had taken the plunge and invested in Khaite, I’ve never looked back. My dress now comes in green, MyTheresa has the green top too, and they’ve got the sleeveless bodysuits as well. I’m also obsessed with their knits. The cashmere quality is truly amazing and their designs are just so flattering. The necklines and body shapes look really lovely on. It’s one of those brands that at the moment can do no wrong.

STANDOUT INVESTMENT COATS

As summer is officially behind us, I’ve rounded up some lovely coats that look gorgeous with everything I’ve selected for this edit with MyTheresa. I generally invest in one or two really nice coats because again, these are pieces I see myself wearing for years to come. A good coat can really transform an entire outfit. I don’t wear fur so I’ve linked a beautiful shearling and a few dream coats that are super chic and cosy for those cold winter mornings.
