I absolutely love Selfridges — It’s my favourite department store in London and truly one of the few places here where you can find everything under one roof. You can find me here at least once a week, popping in to get bits of makeup, grabbing a juice whilst admiring their beautiful shoe department. Starting today, they’ve just launched their Summer Sale with the most beautiful contemporary and luxury designer brands up to 50% off!

I have done an edit of my favourite pieces, apologies if any items have sold out, things seem to be selling out as I am linking them!

Because I live right near there, I was able to pop in and have a look at some of my favorites that I hoped were going to go on sale. Several of the dresses that I included in this former post are all marked down —absolutely gorgeous and perfect for summer. Zimmerman, Self Portrait, are a few contemporary designer favorites that I’d definitely include, along with these gorgeous dresses that I’ve selected below… I especially love the red Kitri dresswhich I think is the most fabulous shape and the Peter Pilotto floral dress is an investment but such a fabulous dress for all your summer events and also super timeless so you could wear it year on year.

The shoe department at Selfridges is enormous. The floor is always brimming with designer footwear which is so hard to resist! For the Selfridges Summer Sale, I’d definitely add any of these  Jimmy Choo to my wish list – I have compiled my favourites below including some other brands all of which are super versatile and go with lots of looks, I have included even a few boots including these Jimmy Choos grainy heeled boots because even though it is summer its always good to purchase a great staple shoe!

There are some amazing bags in the sale that are just fabulous, the Givenchy quilted clutches  are the dream and I also love the Saint Laurent in moss green and for a summer clutch the LK Bennet straw clutch is just so simple and beautiful

A few other items I am loving, my Balenciaga tube jeans are my go to jeans in the winter, I wear a size 26 which is my usual size, this Balenciaga cashmere blend logo jumper is so lovely as is this fabulous Ganni Jumper which is £150 from £450, and even one of my favourite perfumes the iconic Fracas by Robert Piguet is on sale, it is a super heady tuberose scent.

I know most of you follow me for fashion, but a lot of you know one of my passions is cooking, and lots of you always send messages when I do my cooking stories, so I thought I would include some of my favourite cookware products from Le Cruset and Smeg as I tend to always buy them when they are on sale as they are such a huge investment!

If there is one thing I really love it’s a dress; from a day dress, a beach dress to an evening dress, its always a failsafe and easy look to perfect , with the right dress, you can’t really go wrong, its effortless and as a Mum who is constantly on the go I find it incredibly efficient to throw on a dress as you can save 10 minutes from finding the right combinations of separates.

Selfridges has always been one of my favourite stores to shop, they have a fabulous selection of brands across the store, combining  established designers such as Valentino and Stella McCartney, emerging brands like Jacquemus, Rixo and Cecilie Bahnsen and high street brands such as Sandro Paris,  Top Shop and Whistles. The stores is very close to me, so I am often in store grabbing my Nespresso pods and flowers but equally I love to shop online as they offer such a super efficient and speedy online store and service.

So its no no suprise I was super excited to shoot a few summer looks with Selfridges and do an edit of my favourite dresses (see the end of the post) For me Selfridges really is a one stop destination for dress shopping, as they really have it all – the most enormous selection.

First off I shot one of my absolute favourites, this Stella McCartney dress, this is definitely more of an evening statement party dress, I am OBSESSED with this dress, I think the colours and the patterned lurex fabric is amazing, it just oozes that 70’s boho vibe that is just so cool and effortless. I am also obsessed with the maxi version which is next on my wish list, I love the purple silver and lilac hues! There is also a long sleeved version of my dress which is perfection, although its a little shorter than mine and being nearly 5ft 10 thats a bit of a problem! I have styled the dress with simple jewellery as I think the dress speaks for itself. I LOVE these Laura Lombardi gold hoops, so pretty and chic. The Valentino bag is one of my go to evening bags for summer, the neutral shade goes with everything and the red lip which I always get so many questions about, is my favourite “Tell Laura” by Charlotte Tilbury. My Manolo shoes are available in store – but you HAVE TO LOOK AT THESE  Manolo Blank Lurum shoes which are available online and are the the new Selfridges only exclusive shoe – WANT!!

I also decided to shoot a couple of dresses from the brand Samsoe & Samsoe which is a brand relatively new to me and one that I think has a great price point also. Firstly I should this yellow gingham dress which is such a pretty and happy dress. I think yellow is such a good colour for most people and I love that you could wear this dress in the day with flats and a basket bag and you could totally dress it up with heels and some statement earrings.

I also fell in love with this cobalt blue dress also from Samsoe & Samsoe, I love a striking colour and this one is such an incredible shade of blue, that is literally just pops – I LOVE IT. I styled it here as I would in the evening with gold heels and statement earrings, but equally I think it would amazing with flats such as these beautiful Metallic Saint Laurent sandals or amazing gold Kurt geiger flats as the colour is statement enough.

Shop my favourite from Samsoe & Samsoe

I have included all my favourite dresses in different price ranges with varying styles, some more party, some day and some boho and event and  investment dresses too 🙂

It’s no secret that I love great skincare and for me this means a brand that is all about the skin, a brand that is pioneering, does their research and is clinically proven to work. So its no big suprise that I have been a long term lover of Elemis due to its innovative products and transformative results.

So of course I was excited to team up with Elemis to try their new Ultra Smart Pro Collagen” line and offer my readers something amazing (more on that later).

As you know I will only promote products that I genuinely love so I have been using these products religiously for 4 weeks and here is what I found.

So the new Ultra Smart Pro Collagen line is the next generation in skin care. I will start with the Ultra Smart Pro-collagen Complex 12 Serum for the face. As you know I am in my late thirties and the lines are definitely beginning to show, especially on my forehead, and my skin often feels dry, especially in this weather. I do always admit to having botox in my forehead once or twice a year but I haven’t been for a good 8 months so my lines were at their worst when I started. The Ultra Smart Pro-collagen Complex  contains a potent blend of 12 algae which helps the skin feel hydrated, firmer and targets deep-set lines and wrinkles, and drone technology delivers an intense boost hyaluronic acid.

I found the product itself glides on smoothly with no sticky residue (which I have found with some serums) I used one to two pumps before my moisturiser in the morning and evening. The Ultra Smart Pro-collagen Complex clearly delivers, as the name suggests I felt the collagen in my face improved with it feeling more plump and hydrated and I found it definitely visibly reduced the lines on my forehead within the first 2 weeks and continued to do so.

The other product I used in conjunction with the face serum was the Ultra Smart Pro-collagen Eye Treatment Duo. These are 2 eye creams designed to be used specifically in the morning and evening. This is the first time I have used an eye cream that is a duo and it made total sense to me as your needs do differ from morning to night. The morning eye balm specifically targets dark circles and puffiness creating a tighter more lifted look. I found it to be a light textured eye balm that glided on and created a wonderful seal leaving my eye area perfect for make-up application. The evening eye cream, in contrast, was much thicker and richer. it kind of melted into my skin and overnight improved hydration and plumpness and following weeks I noticed definite improvement of my fine lines and wrinkles. Personally, I found both the products in the Ultra Smart Pro-collagen Eye Treatment Duom worked perfectly together. Both are applied with the eye tool provided which greatly aided application and I will continue using them as I am also feeling the whole area feeling more plump.

Elemis are offering any of my readers the opportunity to visit an Elemis counter in Debenhams, John Lewis or Harvey Nichols to experience a 15-minute ultra-smart pro-collagen facial. I have been to try one out and it was a super facial with great results. Please see details below:
