I wanted to do a blog post with MyTheresa specifically for swimwear because I always get so many questions about the swimsuits and bikinis I wear. I like to invest in a swimsuit because the fit is super important and a good swimsuit can last for years and years.

Johanna Ortiz

I’m totally obsessed with Johanna Ortiz bikinis and swimwear. Granted they’re not exactly “swimming” costumes, they’re more of an outfit, I certainly wouldn’t be doing my laps wearing one. But personally, love wearing them with a beautiful skirt or sarong — you can throw on a beautiful skirt or sarong and have the perfect outfit for lunch or dinner. They’re such a statement. I always get so many questions and compliments on them. They really are a “Wow” piece.

Marysia

Marysia for me are the ultimate chic, simple swimsuits and bikins. As much as I love a statement bikini, sometimes simplicity is key. They look so effortlessly stylish. I love that the signature scalloped edges elevate a simple style. I have the white and black swimsuits and a couple of the bikinis.

Hunza G

Being a super tall girl I find it really hard to find swimsuits that are long enough in the body. Hunza G truly are the most comfortable swimming costumes I’ve ever worn. I’ve found that they stretch to fit any shape or size. Soleil’s even worn my red one before. I have a few colors, I love the belted one, it’s very flattering.

Oseree

Oseree swimwear is having a real moment. You may recognize their signature metallic fabric. I love this pink suit I wore back in Tuscany and also have this high waisted style I’ve worn again in the gold.

Kalita

Kalita is a forever favourite. You’ll recognize the gorgeous low cut backs. There isn’t a piece I wear more on holiday. The fabrics are absolutely gorgeous and the colors stunning. I wore this pink version most recently in the Maldives and linked several other stunning styles exclusive to MyTheresa.

Alexandra Miro

Alexandra Miro makes the most beautiful coverups and swimwear in the most pretty prints. Her iconic Betty gown is always one of my favourites to throw on at the beach.

Hi Everyone, full disclosure, I obviously wrote this before the coronavirus took over, but so many of you said you wanted me to carry on as normal for a distraction…so here is the blog post as scheduled.….I hope you are all staying safe and cosy, goodness know when we will all be out again, but in the mean time here is a little bit of pretty…Net-A-Porter also has 15 % off lots of items right now so lots of the items here are included. Hope you enjoy 🙂

As much as I love knits and teddy coats, as soon as Christmas is over I’m ready to throw off the heavier layers and step into spring. At the moment I’m really big into suiting. It’s super on trend this season and quite timeless at the same time. Pinks and pastels are another trend I’m happy is continuing. I’ve been a fan for years and am really just loving tone on tone and colour blocking.

It’s a really simple look put together. Not much effort required, and pieces in a suit work really well as separates or together. I’m loving a wide-leg, high-waisted trouser. They pair really nicely with a tee or cami and the colored blazer is great with jeans. When it comes to suiting, I quite like investing In tailoring. If designed right, you can really tell the difference of a well cut suit. I’ve mixed and matched with a few brands to put together some looks with Net-A-Porter — including my tonal pastel suiting sets, pink blazer, pink trousers, pink ribbed sweater, my fringed skirt, along with a few other beautiful options and pastel shoes that have me ready for spring.

I know its only March but I’m already looking forward to vacations and spring holidays… especially sunny climates this time of year. I try to invest in a few key pieces that are timeless, will work on holiday, and also in the city. I’m sharing with you lots of looks from our recent trip to the Maldives, all from MyTheresa.com that I feel are great investment pieces and ones that you’ll wear on repeat all summer and future ones to come. I’ve broken it down into lots of different categories so you can easily browse through my favourite selections. I’ve included lots of colour and strong silhouettes with a lot of statement sleeves, because I feel it’s a trend that’s going to be around for a while.  And I’ve also included some beautiful spring pieces from MyTheresa for the girls. xx

DRESSES

Johanna Ortiz and Gül Hürgel are always two of my go-to brands for summer dresses. Many of Johanna Ortiz dresses always have the statement sleeve which I love and the fabrics and cuts are divine. I wore this one in the Maldives. It’s such a beautiful style. Very flattering with the vertical stripes and the back detail is so pretty. For some reason it’s also half the price of their normal dresses which is always a bonus. Gül Hürgel makes the most beautiful resortwear. I have dresses of hers from 5 years ago that I still pull out from my beach holidays — always timeless and this years are no exception. Love this floral print one I wore in the Maldives.

BLOUSES / SHORTS

I do love separates in the summer. I’m not always about the floaty dresses, I think separates are always super amazing and versatile,. The blouses this season from Miu Miu are so cool and I love that you can team them with skirts, shorts jeans, giving lots of flexible options to wear them.

I’m loving the paper bag waste silhouette at the moment. It’s a super flattering shape. The oversized fit is not only super comfortable but super flattering. I feel like they make your legs look elongated. My personal favourites are the denim Isabel Marant and the Miu Miu Khaki, which go with everything.

BAGS

I had a Botega bag last year. They’re a perfect evening bag / summer bag or even small day bag. I have the gold still from last year. One of the best bags I’ve ever bought. I love it, especially the gold goes with everything. The blue is beautiful. It’s slightly less versatile but such a stunning colour. I love this little Miu Miu basket bag. I’ve always wanted a Mark Cross one but not sure I’d spend that much on a wicker bag — this ones half the price and super super cute. I used it all the time in the Maldives.

SHOES

Continuing on last year’s trend, I’m loving a barely there sandal at the moment for summer. Bottega is still very much one of my favourite shoe brands. I had these square toed sandals last year in white and black and found they went with everything. I love the gold because they’re super versatile and the Bottega padded sandals are still super cute in white. My personal favourite this year are the Lido sandals with the huge intrecciato weave.

ACCESSORIES

Below I linked some of my go-to accessories.  I love a pearl earring, the Bottega earrings are gorgeous, and my heart sunglasses look lovely on every face shape.

MY THERESA FOR THE GIRLS

My Theresa always has the cutest selection of children’s clothes, stocking my favourite designers from Bonpoint, Tartine Et Chocolat, and Il Gufo. The girls here are wearing the most adorable dresses from Tartine et Chocolat. I love the bohemian vibe of the ruffle sleeves and pink is always gorgeous.
